This university module (Escape Studios London) was aimed to introduce myself to the fundamentals of developing 3D assets for use in a wide range of visual effects pipelines. I ended the four-week period thoroughly providing a sound foundation in which I strove to produce a product emphasising similarity to different mediums of industry grade work. Throughout this intensive hands-on project, I acquired the latest 3D software and utilised new techniques, this includes toolsets such as modelling from 2D concepts, texturing, lighting and rendering. Managing & organising my workflow while maximising my newly found skillsets within each, industry-standard specialist software (Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, Arnold) to produce a comprehensive final render of my chosen asset (1933 Vintage Camera) to place within a constructed scene utilising only a High Dynamic Range Image (HDR) as the only source of lighting to clearly emphasise each point of the set submission requirement.
